Celebrating is about sharing, telling stories, talking. It's about eating a piece of cake that a friend made for you, having a glass of wine or savoring a cup of coffee. It's that unknown sensation that doesn't let you get up from the table after eating. It's much more than just placing silverware and plates on a table, it's creating an ambience, a style, a sensation, an unforgettable memory.

Just a bite

A little tapa, the other night I had friends coming over we had wine and I made 2 tortillas de patatas that became my left over for the following day, a Spanish montadito breakfast.
I toasted a sliced baguette drizzled with olive oil, and placed a slice of Manchego cheese, olive oil and pepper, a piece of tortilla de patatas and on the top roasted red peppers.
A divine glorious way to start a day followed by  a cappuccino or even a glass of red wine would be much better...

Sounds and looks really delicious! Too bad I can't make tortilla, I'm afraid of failing, I have bad memories of my mom yelling at everyone when the tortilla broke, and my husband had the same experience with his mom!

I do love tapas! I have been to a few tapas parties and they were wonderful-I definitely do not opt out when it comes to those. This is a tasty creation you have here, one not to be missed. Your picture is very tempting. Have a great day!

What a delightful little bite. Manchego is my favourite cheese too. I can see myself inhaling these. (with red wine of course). :)

I had this type of tortilla de patatas at a tapas bar once. I never really thought to recreate them! Perfect for a brunch.

OH YUM! I'm not sure if I have tried Manchego cheese before... sounds familiar - maybe my husband bought before (he's more knowledgeable in terms of cheese). I love roasted bell peppers too. I will remember this little bite when I get Manchego cheese!

Hi Lola! How're you? I don't think I have tried Manchego cheese before. Will definitely keep it in mind, and try to source for it here in our local grocers. Perhaps I should throw a tapas party too. I love how I can get variety in bite sizes.. LOL.. Have a good week ahead!! HUgggsss
